Polydioxanone (PDO) is a synthetic fiber that dissolves completely in the tissue over time. It has been used in the production of skin and subcutaneous sutures, which is why it has been used in medicine for many years. The idea to use PDO threads in aesthetic treatments was born in Korea, and thanks to its spectacular effects, it quickly gained popularity around the world.
