Glutathione (Glutathione) is an active ingredient that plays an important role in nutrition and regulation of certain cellular events such as gene expression. This component in high concentrations (600 mg per gram of tissue) together with vitamin C, makes BCN Melano a powerful antioxidant for the skin.
Kojic acid (5-hydroxy 2-hydroxymethyl-pyrone acid) is a powerful inhibitor of melanin production, which is why it is also known for its “whitening” effect.
Glycolic acid, ß-hydroxy acid (AHA), has an exfoliating action and is used to reduce the stratum corneum barrier and increase the penetration of other topical agents, while stimulating new skin and collagen growth.
Vitamin C is a very effective antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals, inhibits melanin, stimulates the growth of the hydrolipidic film and increases collagen synthesis.
Citric acid is an organic tricarboxylic acid commonly used in cosmetics for its antimicrobial and antioxidant action that contributes to the stability, efficacy and better appearance of the final product, as well as adding its antioxidant action to the cocktail.
